Confined spaces are commonly found in tanks, ducts, flues, chimneys, containers or similar enclosed or partially enclosed structures. They pose dangers because they are usually not designed to be areas where people work.

This course is appropriate for those working in operational roles in confined spaces in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries.

It is designed to teach participants how to identify confined space hazards, work safely within confined spaces according to an issued permit and operate various confined space safety equipment.
